Installation considerations
.Be sure to turn off the power before beginning the installation. Operating when energized is strictly banned.
.A fuse or circuit breaker should be installed in series at the front of the surge protection module.
.Connect according to the installation diagram throughout the installation process. Avoid making improper connections. After installation, close the circuit breaker (or fuse) switch and ensure that the operation is OK.

.After installation, insert the module and check that the surge protection module is working properly.
.During operation, inspect the surge protection module on a regular basis and monitor the state of the fault display window. If the fault display window turns red or the remote signaling terminal emits an alarm signal, it indicates that the surge protection module is malfunctioning and should be repaired or replaced immediately.
.Install power surge protection units in parallel. The connection wires must be sturdy, dependable, short, thick, and straight.
